zingari di milano

I went to a Gypsy camp on the outskirts of Milano with Davide and Manfredi of AVANTGARDEN gallery; and guess what? those Gypsies were from Serbia, so I was the man of the moment ... SRBIJA ! The camp was pretty civilized, nothing like I imagined it - no packs of dogs running around or old Gypsy women smoking pipes. Nope. All too normal (except that I bumped into a freshly slaughtered pig being shaved with BIC razors :)

why did they shave it?

in london they just wrap them in plastic and throw them away.

I remember seeing the SAO PAULO book in MILANO LIBRI, close to La Scala ... also, LIBRERIA HOEPLI should have some.
